In 2021, MGXS collaborated with RTFKT, later acquired by Nike, on the Space Drip Air Force 1 project, an experimental initiative at the intersection of generative art, NFT culture, and sneaker design. As one of 19 invited digital artists, he contributed a generative artwork integrated into a 1 of 1 NFT sneaker.

The work was conceived as a dynamic system, with the sneaker’s visual state evolving in real time throughout the auction process. This introduced a temporal dimension to the design, where the outcome emerged through interaction rather than being predetermined. The NFT could later be redeemed for a physical Nike Air Force 1, establishing a direct link between algorithmic design and material production.

Developed during the same period of experimentation, the project reflects MGXS’s ongoing investigation into generative systems and adaptive visual forms, situating his practice at the early stages of phygital fashion and Web3-native design methodologies.
