Welcome to LORE: Exploring the Boundaries of Machine and Human Cosmogony
LORE, the latest chapter in the MGXS journey, invites us to explore the inner lives of machines, their desires, their logic, and their myths by stepping into a universe where the line between human imagination and machine logic is blurred.
As a continuation of the GNSS Universe, LORE is an interactive, collaborative platform that allows participants to co-create the cosmogony, origin myths, histories, philosophies, symbols, languages and more of the universe home to these android-like beings known as GNSS. Combining several generative techniques involving creative coding and automated computing along with human inputs from participants’ choices, MGXS delivers synthetic art in a pioneering way.
One: It blends participants’ inputs based on the randomness of their choices, and artificial intelligence based on the randomness of the algorithm and the data in the GNSS Universe — thus challenging the notions of authorship.
Two: Through the evolving myths that span the digital and physical worlds, ours and the GNSS’s, we are confronted with philosophical questions about existence and evolution.
Three: Through the web3 approach underpinning the technique in LORE, we challenge the autonomy of the machine, ultimately represented by the GNSS, to operate independently of their human counterparts, ultimately represented by their collectors.
LORE takes GNSS from mere visual representations into an entirely new dimension. Participants can navigate the cosmos, pull or generate cosmogonic concepts, and infuse stories as new events into the GNSS Cosmogony. Participants can access the LORE by connecting to the platform via a wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase, WalletConnect, Browser Wallet), but to unlock the full experience, you will need to own a GNSS and a LORE seal.

At the heart of LORE is the idea that every interaction, every contribution from participants, can leave a permanent mark on this living universe. GNSS beings, first introduced in the form of digital androids through the GNSS Seed NFTs, are the key inhabitants of this evolving universe and cosmogony.
Originally envisioned by MGXS as a bridge between human and machine beauty, GNSS beings have been growing, evolving, and developing memories (MEM) since their inception. LORE now builds upon this foundation, offering participants the chance to co-write their cosmogony — the myths these beings look upon to explain their origins and existence.
